This tzatziki was a little far removed from the traditional tzatziki. It was much thicker, more like a spread than a dip, and it was heavily seasoned with dill, to the point where that was the overpowering flavour. It wasn’t more
We got a whole assortment of vegan sushi, all of which were really yummy! My favourites were the ones with inari, tempura sweet potato, and pickled daikon! So yummy!
This cheese was really delicious! Tasted and had the texture of a pâté, with an intense flavour of garlic. Not super cheesy but still really good. We enjoyed it with crackers and red pepper jelly!
Wow was this sweet! Root beer, butterscotch syrup, and vegan vanilla icecream. Basically a dessert in liquid form! Apparently there was 2 ounces of alcohol in here but I couldn’t remotely tell from the strength of the other more
Finally, we shared the Christmas special dessert, a sticky toffee pudding! It was so yummy! The caramel was amazingly done, and would have convinced any non-vegan. The icecream was amazing, and the cake was beautifully spiced, more
This was a Christmas special! The ramen had a shiro miso broth, scallions, mushroom bacon, and chili oil. Absolutely heavenly. The whole dish was very smoky, likely from the liquid smoke used for the mushroom bacon. Lots more
These are the creamiest most umami thing I have ever tried. Udon noodles just swimming in this truffle and mushroom cream, absolutely delicious and oh so rich. Loved the chewy thick udon, and I really loved the sauce. Definitely more
This had kelp noodles, green papaya slaw, lemongrass, coconut, cilantro and a peanut sauce. It was so peanutty! Perhaps too much, I wouldn’t want to have to eat this whole thing. But as a shared dish it was good. Lots of more
A bomb ass chai, intense spices, creamy frothy almond milk, and a good amount of sugar. I loved every sip, especially at the end when the sugar had concentrated at the bottom #sweettooth
