Review of bamnut pho at nomVnom Bistro by xinru-t
Whereas the original Be-Pho (available only at the Tai Seng branch) comes with a clear herbed broth, this BamNut version (available at both the Tai Seng and Clarke Quay branches) is infused with #sglocal @whatiffoods #whatiffoods #bamnut milk, making the soup richer and creamier! Served with soy-mushroom mock meat chunks, shredded king oyster mushrooms, cut chilli, plus purple cabbage fried to resemble crispy shallots for the allium-free crowd. A tad salty to me, but interesting regardless; something different from conventional pho. Btw bambara groundnuts are regenerative crops that help to improve soil fertility!
