Firm & juicy monkeyhead mushrooms encased in a crispy batter, topped with a nice creamy curry mayo. Tastes good but a little pricey ($10) and some parts were too fried / charred. Suited for sharing as its quite heaty.
This tasted one-dimensional with the sweet teriyaki sauce overpowering everything else and the sushi felt too crispy / crunchy with the pairing of the fried tofu unagi, tempura mushroom & cucumber. Prefer Herbivore’s rendition more
The curry is good with a nice depth and its reasonably priced at $9, a much cheaper alternative to Herbivore’s. Didnt realise its located in Hougang CC which was quite crowded as many ppl were going for vaccination on the weekend 😵
