This Tahini by Tesco is quite good. I am using it in Salads, Sauces, Dips. It's tasty and has that nutty flavor.

Last month, I noticed this restaurant while traveling on the bus, and when I learned it was all vegan, I added it to my list of places to try. I am so glad that I decided to go here for an early dinner today at the last more

Hello everyone, I am currently studying MSc Data Science in London and looking for project ideas for my research. I am thinking to take veganism and combine it with artificial intelligence to provide solution to the real more

ravi-gopalan You could try exploring the quantify the positive impact of veganism on the environment by looking at the delta of metrics such as carbon footprint, water use, land use between non-vegan and vegan products.. just a thought2 likesReply
esha16 Thank you. This is a good idea. I will think about this. 🙂Reply
fxk That sounds so exciting! I’m always keen to read research that relates to veganism.
Are there any particular aspects of veganism you’d be more interested in focusing your research on? 2 likesReply
esha16 I am currently going through different topics. For example what are the factors which block people to switch? How people changed? Like we know the reasons but if I know the facts and figures according to geography, that would be interesting to analyze. 🙂1 likeReply
fxk Great point. I remember a study examining how people’s justifications (excuses, really) for eating animals (i.e., the 4 Ns) related with their psychological profiles. Not sure about their analysis (admittedly i dont have the background), but it was interesting, offering insight into why one might defend eating animals. Not sure if it relates to what you’re thinking?
I’m defo keen to learn more from you. Also, love the geographic aspect you’re thinking to include! Exciting times!1 likeReply
esha16 Thank you. Do you have any link to that study? I am excited but nervous too. Not sure if I will be able to do this or not. Still new to this field.1 likeReply
fxk I think this was the article i was reading, but it might be behind a paywall (Let us know if you haven’t got access, or if doesn’t work).
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0950329318309327.
It might be early in the research phase, but it’s awesome that you’re seeking to unpick these questions; I think that any work to further our understanding patterns and drivers of social inequality is a step towards breaking down hierarchies, and take us closer to total liberation ✊.Reply
leevardy Probably a bit basic, but something just to be able to go through an ingredients list from a photo or barcode and to tell you whether the product is actually vegan, so many ingredients use different names based off language and location. Expanding from that, Potentially even down to the manufacturing processes along side the ingredients, business ethics.
Just as an example, it would’ve been lovely to have known after eating a vegan KitKat that NestlĂ© are still performing animal testing. It would be cool to see a yakka kind of style app that could go through certain motions and tell you actually how vegan a product is from ingredients to manufacturing process to company ethics. ïżŒ2 likesReply
esha16 Thanks for this idea. This will really helpful if we have something like this. I will think about it. 🙂1 likeReply

irenakat You might want to check out Ed Winters books "How to Argue with a Meat Eater and win Every Time" and "This is Vegan Propaganda and other lies that meat industry tells you about"... Both books are full of facts based on research... With reference to research/ study sources. 👍 ... Audiobooks are also an option, which some might prefer. 😉💚1 likeReply
