The vegetable broth was pretty tasty. The vegetarian chicken was ok, the texture was a bit weird but I appreciate they have a few vegan protein options for every place in this restaurant. It tastes better with hot sauce and hoisin sauce.
Around $13.
Tip: to make it vegan, swap the fish sauce that comes on the side with a peanut sauce.
It was also good to add hoisin sauce and hot sauce.
Because I didn’t use the fish sauce, the noodle was kind of dry and more
$15. The chocolate cake was mediocre, nothing special, a bit dry and hard. The almond ice cream was good. I wouldn’t get it again for $15.
$19. It was my family’s favorite. Very kids friendly. For me it was a bit too salty. But really good flavor.
$22. Stone bowl with brown rice option.
The flavor was good but it was too saucy and a bit too salty. The mock duck, although it tasted good, the texture was more spongy and it wasn’t a duck like texture.
$10. This wasn’t great. They weren’t served hot. The filling and the sauce weren’t that good wither.
$13 it was tasty, they are really good scallion pancakes. Like the crispiness. The sauce was good as well.
$22 stone bowl with brown rice.
It was delicious, good combination of different texture in the bowl. Liked the crispy tempeh. Also love the brown rice option.
Build your own bowl with Greens + Grains (rice & peas and good green/cabbage slaw), Akara (fluffy bean fritter), sweet plantains and roasted carrots with smoky jalapeño dressing.
$13.
Overall it was bland, needed more more
Carne Empanada - Grounded protein, quinoa and cranberries $3.99
This was good, I like the filling is made of quinoa, it’s def a healthier option. The filling could be a bit less dry.
