In my opinion, this is the most realistic, tastiest vegan bacon on the market. Smoky, crispy, and looks pretty similar to the real thing. 

It’s tricky to find in store but I’ve had luck at the Billing’s Bridge Independent. If you have seen it anywhere else in Ottawa let me know!

Oh my goodness! I don’t know why it took me so long to get there but now that I know how good they are I will be buying often! 

Ground round has been perfect by a few companies but this is the only “beef pieces” I’ve really seen like this. It worked so well in a “carne asada” burrito I made as well as this “beef and broccoli” dish.

“Love for yourself” juice cleanse

“Love for yourself” one day juice cleanse was an amazing set of organic and unique juices. 

These are cold pressed, local, and very fresh and come delivered to your door. I tried 3 of their cleanse sets and this was my favourite! 

The fruit and veggie juice combos were tasty and I felt satisfied after each one. 

I woke up the next day feeling lean and energized and was the least bloated I had been in a while.

Reuben Sandwich

Have I ever had a less than amazing meal from Nooch? NO! 

The Reuben is my all time favourite dish on their menu. It is so unique and not something you can often get even at other vegan restaurants. Their house made and sliced seitan is perfection. 

I had it with their ultimate cheesy noodles which are just as great as they look and sound. Mushroom bacon brings this over the top!

I absolutely loved this tofu döner from Wolf Down. I loved the vegan spicy sauce that came on it and found that it was packed with toppings. Would definitely have this again!

Margherita pizza with cauliflower crust

Tried this pizza for the first time today! 

I love that this is gluten free and uses Earth Island mozzarella. The cauliflower crust is the unique touch to this product and it was a very delicious thin crust. 

This was great for a frozen pizza, and a fantastic option for a quick meal. I did eat the entire pizza is one go and was very full! Probably would be fine for two people, I was just particularly hungry 😅. Would have this again for sure!

Annie’s Organic Vegan Mac Pumpkin And Sweet Potato Creamy Sauce

I’ve had this in my pantry for forever just waiting to be lazy enough to use it. I finally did and really enjoyed it. The pumpkin flavour wasn’t super strong. Unloaded it up with pepper and chili flakes and even a little hot sauce just to add more oomph. It was super creamy and easy to make! Bought at whole foods in the USA

Ohh! Looks great. Yes, everything here is pricy but sooo worth it once and a while. :) 

Bang Bang Broccoli

Omg I’m still having dreams of this broccoli 🥦💚 it’s just perfect and if you stop by Planta Queen you NEED To try it. Everything here is kinda pricey but the atmosphere and all around experience make it worthwhile. It’s best to order a few things for the table and share with friends.  I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.

Dipped Vanilla Bean Coconutmilk Ice Cream Bar

These are perfect! The most amazing treat for when you have a hankering for ice cream. The ice cream itself its light and creamy and the shell is a sweet chocolate with almonds. The shell doesn’t fall off which is key!

I really enjoyed this cheese! It was packed with flavour and was super creamy. It had a bite to the flavour that was very cheesy - I’m guessing because this is cultured. I think this would make a great addition to a vegan charcuterie board!
