My favorite thing @ Vinh Loi was the annual special in 2010 and luckily Kevin never forgets how to make it if I want it. It’s very similar to the TKO soup that is on the current menu.
“House-made cashew mozzarella sticks, marinara sauce.” It’s kind of unfair to rate this on the basis of nutrition. It’s fried vegan cheese. It’s not health food. But how can I resist fried vegan cheese? It’s amazing.
(V) “Ricotta, mozzarella, crimini mushroom, black truffle cream sauce, pesto, micro basil.” Again not PV but technically PV Pizzeria next door. We liked this more than the DeRose but also a bit $$ for a pizza. I’m also typically more
I scoff at a Canadian company making Mexican food but this is a fun, easy ground meat that can be dressed up or down to be as spicy as you may require. Here I added minimal veggies so we could try it more or less without more
Okay I’m the first in all of ABV-land to review a product by Very Good Butchers? That’s insane. This is the world’s second vegan company to IPO after Beyond Meat. Everyone’s heard of them, but nobody’s eating it?

I’m usually keen on Miyoko’s products but not this one, not this time. Maybe I am too used to the buttery richness of Earth Balance after 15 years. This is sweeter than I want, which I’ve found is true of other oat milk more
Haven’t reviewed many of Miyoko’s “classic” line but here you go. Delicious. Complex. Satisfying. Banana for scale.
I’m not a huge fan of KH but this is a pretty unusual find. I wouldn’t get it again. But if it was on the table at a fun cocktail party and I was already on two glasses of Pinot Grigio I’d nom it. Remember cocktail parties? Sigh.
Oh my gosh that is ridiculous, I must buy some, I said to myself in the store. Then I ate half of it. It’s as you’d expect: hummus that tastes like pickles. If you like pickles, you’ll like this, especially if you’re married more
