dafnelately We made the donations for all the accounts some time ago. It seems in the case of @veganmika the amount listed in the spreadsheet was “1” instead of the appropriate amount. It’s been updated now.4 likesReply

vikas “Pride bandwagon”? Man it sounds like you have an axe to grind. We have been doing that out of deep respect for our community and our own team since probably 2018 or 19. dafnelately Hi, we made all the equity transfers in April — We had you as “1” instead of the amount you’ve requested and we’re deeply sorry about that.

I’ve made the transfer now and if you’d like I can even provide the evidence and logs.

I’m sure other members can back us up that those transfers have in fact been made.

Even if the amount isn’t reflected on the app, those numbers are accounted separately. At that point in time we had 2 engineers (with one on the way out) working full-time to support the mobile app, our website, business dashboards, etc. We make mistakes, please allow us some empathy.6 likesReply

dafnelately To elaborate more, you were the only person to donate more than $1000 worth of equity — You are very generous and we appreciate that.

There was an oversight it seems that when we converted the spreadsheet to a CSV your donation value got converted into “1,xxx” so your donation amount was only registered as $1.

abillion Hi @veganmika, we're very sorry for the recent lack of communication. Being a small team, we sometimes struggle with juggling everything, and we didn’t handle this situation as smoothly as we should have.
Good news is that all the equity transfers were done. It took a lot of engineering work, and we discovered that in your case there was an issue with the working file export where the number “1764” turned into “1”. That has been fixed. All the other transfers are accurate.
We’re really sorry for any confusion or inconvenience this has caused. Your support means a lot to us, and we’ll make sure this doesn’t happen again.4 likesReply

ang- I don't want to talk for @veganmika but if you would have read you would know that he won't answer. How I understand it is that you guys have made too many mistakes and he has enough. veganmika Well said, and thank you. Yes, you’re correct. It’s lovely to see that it’s been done, now. But only because I made this post. I understand that mistakes happen, but in other lines of work, a similar mistake could have grave consequences. For example, I work in Health Care. What would happen if I mixed up someone’s dietary needs and gave them the wrong texture of food or something that they’re allergic to? At a certain point, you have to take account for your own actions, which I’m glad has somewhat been the case after making a post and tagging these specific people. However, this doesn’t change my decision. It kind of emphasizes why I’ve made it. 3 likesReply

veganvanman I understand what it means to run a small business, I wouldn't appreciate anybody spreading drama, Yes of course it can be frustrating, 6 weeks, 6 months.. but this is how business irons out the impefections, and become stronger for their mission and in return their loyal customers. Mistakes happen and it takes years and years for that establisment to be made. Vikas and his team have made their goal quite clear, the fact that a CEO would respond to so many of their hundreds of 1000s of daily users is a credit most cannot claim for such platform and what other simply just do not stand by regarding the SMP network. this is not about individual status, that belongs elsewhere, this is a community that reflects on individuals coming together and making an impact as a team on tge same mission, granted, with patience we will get there no matter how long it takes, but it takes us all who want to be here. Give Vikas and the crew a break, as they said it is a small team making a huge difference- there are other platforms to rant on, it is not helpful. Keep up the good work abillion, we will get there- collectively, and in good time.6 likesReply

veganmika @veganvanman, thanks for your condescending worlds. Funny that you say that this Platform is not for drama, before speaking down to me publicly like this. Of course it’s not what I wanted from the app. I worked diligently to raise and donate money for charity. It was never about me. But I reached out multiple times over 6 months and never received any update until yesterday’s post. So, tell me, how patient must one be? I think that’s ridiculous. It takes 1 min to check into something and respond.

Frankly, we all have busy lives and it’s a struggle for everyone. I however spent a huge amount of time and energy posting as frequently as I did and it just became infuriating when I was met with silence and even clap backs from the likes of you, who have raised $5,000 less than I have BTW.

I’m not for infighting either so I’ll leave it here. Hopefully you can become more motivated to mind your own business and post some more. Maybe someday you’ll get to the 🥕 club. 😉 2 likesReply

I like reviewing and seeing the reviews of others, but it is a little sad I can't donate anything at the moment (I am active, but not enough to be weekly champion). svraphael88 I just want to pubically state that I support @abillion 100%. After reading all of their responses on the matter, they clearly are doing more than any of us would be able to accomplish on our own. I have also had the pleasure of engaging in video calls with @vika, with my classes! And he has done nothing but do an admirable job, speaking to and inspiring my students.
I am sorry this happened to you, but I also think that veganism has the most influence when you preach consistent kindness and patience, not preaching for results and entitlement. It is hard, but this app has taught me that it can be done.
I do wish you the absolute best and I know that I will miss your original presence on the platform, including killer recommendations for vegan-company-purchases and anecdotes, I just feel that your frustration is misdirected. Sending love and peace. 1 likeReply
