Striving towards plant-based
If you’re of a certain vintage, like me, and have a renewed liking for groundnuts, like me, then you need to go look for these at Giant supermarkets (maybe Cold Storage too). Had been looking for Wan Li Wang groundnuts in more
Another addictive winner from this brand. Though I still like the cheese flavoured one a bit more.
Trying to eat plant based, whole foods as far as possible, so I’m really glad to have found this 100% buckwheat soba. Higher in fibre, and it made a fine base for my noodle salad with a Korean-inspired dressing. Pricier more
Enjoyed this oat-based ice cream. Creamy, smooth and not cloyingly sweet. Approved by my discerning 4.5yo who had declined Mr Bean’s soya soft serve at first lick. ‘Nuff said?
Like! No numbing spiciness that’s expected from something mala. That’s actually not a bad thing for me because I like to enjoy my chilli, not suffer it. Ri’s is generous with the ingredients — look at that dollop in the more
Who’s with me when I say natural nut butters can be a pain to stir? It’s easy for this one, though. Bonus is that it tastes great, smooth and creamy, without trying too hard. 😄 Might be my favourite natural PB so far.
Cooked this as a stir fry with some frozen veggies. It’s quite tasty. Even smells like beef. The tempeh is my own add-on, not included of course.
The ratio of oil to crisps in this is probably 4:1. Sad. It’s tasty, though. But I don’t see the point of buying it again, if it’s at $6 for a small jar with mostly oiI. Could you be more generous about the crispy crisps, #lovehandle?
Haven’t tasted that many tortilla chips in my life, but I’m thinking these are perfect. Bold cheesy flavour. Addictively salty. Made my 4.5yo very happy.
Didn’t find this in the list of dishes reviewed. You mean no one has eaten this delicious thing and said something about it? Will eat this again. And again. And again.
