This could seriously pass off as meat in a blind test! Well marinated and grilled, it had a good bite and wasn't oily at all.
Pleasantly surprised to find that the base for the Buddha bowl was quinoa, and it was just $5.50 for 4 sides (broccoli, nai bai, tofu and shitake mushrooms) + a soup. A very yummy and nutritious meal!

The bento set consists of hainanese chicken rice, achar, braised beancurd and a soup of the day. It's really reasonable at $5 and tastes good too!
I almost always choose the brown rice set here at Ci Yan cos it's so yummy and fills me up just nice. There's usually 3 vegetables + 1 protein and it all depends on what the auntie can purchase at the market!

The tiramisu ice cream was lovely! The coffee and cocoa flavours were strong and fragrant and the texture was on point. Now that kind kones is at the more accessible Paragon, I might be treating myself to ice cream more often 🤤
Mind blown by the tonkotsu-like broth! I added an extra portion of spring onions which helped to cut through the rich broth. It was really tasty and I finished every drop!

The kangkong was fresh and not too spicy. It was great with plain rice. Sometimes the simplest of dishes can be satisfying as well!
