Another Gardein product that’s good for an occasional meal, especially when combined with stir fry veggies and rice. The sweet and sour sauce is tasty and the meatless “pork” is a good texture. Not our very favorite meat substitute but great when we’re looking for something different from the usual fare.

Have tried several types of quinoa, prefer red or tri-color and Simple Truth is as good as any brand I’ve tried and Is reasonably priced. I especially enjoy it in chopped salads and bowls. Love to combine greens, quinoa. grape tomatoes, cucumbers, kalamatas, and vegan feta crumbles with a light balsamic or lemon vinaigrette. It’s also delicious with a tahini dressing, it’s also great in breakfast bowls with fruit and/or berries, and in soups, chili and casseroles. Very versatile grain!

This packet is so handy to have on hand when I want a quick grain serving. I didn’t even know how to pronounce quinoa before I became vegan, but now it’s one of my go-to’s. Ready in a couple minutes, it makes a great lunch paired with a vegetable or as a good base for a dinner bowl, especially with a variety of grilled or roasted fresh veggies. I like it with a lemon vinaigrette or a tahiini dressing. Ease of preparation is a real plus if time is short.

Brown Rice and Quinoa With a Hint of Garlic

Love using avocado oil spray to help minimize use of oil. I usually sauté veggies without any oil, but certain things require a bit of oil to cook properly & this fits the bill. I also use it on my air-popped popcorn to help the seasonings stick to the corn, or to fries, etc, in the air fryer for extra crispness. Only a quick spray is require so it goes a long way. My only problem is the can is large enough that the sprayer converts to a “squirter” before I’ve used the whole can because it lasts so long.

Love this stuff and use it a lot, especially in all my soups and stews and gravies. Happy to finally find a reduced sodium version because the original is super high in sodium. Love the veggie broth, also the chickenless, beefless , and even the mushroom which I use to make a delicious Hungarian mushroom soup. Much more reasonably priced in the larger containers at Costco when they carry it!

Very tasty balsamic glaze that adds flavor to almost any food! I love to use it on grilled vegetables, like mushrooms, asparagus, r cauliflower, just enough to give them extra zing! It’s also great on meatless burgers. Tofu cubes brushed with the glaze and air fried or baked are a great addition to a Mediterranean style bowl, on farro or greens with cukes & tomatoes & kslamata olives.

Love Rosarita products when we’re enjoying Mexican food. Several of their refried beans are vegan, with a variety of flavors and seasonings. The green chili and lime are vegan and fat free, very tasty. I especially love them in soft whole wheat flour tortillas, with meatless crumbles, lettuce, tomato. onion, and salsa. The combinations are endless! Also enjoy them in our vegan version of  Huevos rancheros, with Just Egg, salsa, and sliced avocado. Makes a great brunch!

I trust Bob’s Red Mill brands for all of their products to be consistently of high quality. Their split peas are no exception. Love split pea soup with lots of chopped veggies, seasonings, and veggie broth. It’s easier and faster than other legumes because they cook pretty quickly without pre-soaking. Have also prepared them in a curry sauce and served over rice, which was good.

Vegan fish and chips without all the saturated fat! Gardein F’sh Filets are tasty and really quick & easy to prepare. I had been baking them in a conventional oven and they were pretty good but since I invested in an air fryer they are crispy and delicious! I like to combine with French fries and voila! A yummy dinner in 20 minutes with minimal prep work!

Nothing fishy here. Just great taste, Omega-3s and no cholesterol.

Golden Plant Based F'sh Filets 

Yummy frozen fruit sorbet, very high in flavor, low in calories! Some vegan “ice creams” are delicious but have a whopping 1,000+ calories per pint! A pint supposedly serves 3 people, but not in my house, so the sorbet is a great alternative! Made with real fruit, 56% less sugar, and at 310 calories per pint, it’s a tasty, refreshing treat!
