Scot based in London, but seeking out vegan food wherever I go. Mostly nut free as my partner has a severe allergy.
Nice main of salty and crispy deep fried tofu with spring onions, chilli, lemongrass with vermicelli noodles and soy sauce.
This starter came with four crispy dumplings - they were very crisp with a nice filling and a tangy sauce.
Sticky toffee Christmas pudding as a dessert on the Christmas set menu (3 courses for £44). This was delicious - the spices and fruit of a Christmas pudding but in a lighter sponge like a sticky toffee pudding. Served with more
Lovely vegetarian haggis pithivier as a main on their Christmas set menu (3 courses for £44). The veggie haggis was nicely spiced and the pastry was really crisp. Served with creamy colcannon mash, baby carrots & green beans.
Fried cauliflower starter from the Christmas set menu (3 courses for £44). This was deliciously crispy and came with lots of smoky chilli oil, sesame, and spring onion. It would usually come with peanuts too but I requested without.
Lovely special edition vegan pizza with nicely spiced plant-based keema mattar, sweetcorn, fresh mint and vegan mozzarella.
Nice little vegan chocolate bar with small pieces of honeycomb running through it! Good size for a little treat.
Love these garlic bao balls - wasn’t sure what to expect but they’re basically garlic bread bao dough balls! Super tasty and original. Nice garlic and parsley butter filling and really soft bun dough.
Not too keen on these vegan chicken poppers - the southern fried coating was fine but the “chicken” wasn’t great.
These frozen onion bhajis are quite decent party food - nicely spiced.
