Soft and moist red velvet sponge cake smothered in vegan cream cheese frosting in a delicate floral design! 🍰🌸 Layered with cookies and cream with some cookie crumbs, naturally dyed in pink and purple hues using dried roselle flowers, and dusted with edible gold flakes. 🍪✨ Just like when I first had it a few years ago, I found this on the sweeter and richer side with the thick (and slightly greasy) cream cheese frosting dominating the flavour profile; perhaps having a more prominent cocoa scent and introducing a tangy berry compote might have helped to balance things out? Nonetheless it was a very beautiful cake indeed!
