Review of Ajvar scharf - Penny by david-
Ajvar is a condiment usually made from red bell peppers, eggplants 🍆 and oil. It’s quite popular throughout the Balkan countries. This specific one says that it’s „as spicy as a volcano 🌋“ but that’s more marketing than truth lol. Had to add more chili 🌶 make it spicier. Works well on burgers, with veggies etc. no limits. Comes in a glass jar #veganuary

david- It’s more of a spread but there are chunks inside. I used it as an addition to pasta sauces, on burgers but also as a dip for veggies sometimes 1 likeReply
ciupertica Never heard of ajvar but looks very much like our 'zacuscă' also made from eggplants and bell peppers. Probably is the same. I love zacusca and it's always vegan. 😋Reply
