Review of Pickled Lettuce - Narcissus by amazinganne
I love pickled lettuce as it goes so well with porridge. This Narcissus brand tastes as good as the Triple A (AAA) brand at S$1.65 & is a lot cheaper at S$0.85. I guess it is due to the can being lighter than the glass bottle. I also note that Narcissus has sugar which AAA does not. It also does not state if it is preservative, colour & MSG free, which AAA states. So I guess AAA has a better quality & therefore higher price. There is not much difference in taste. My budget conscious bf goes for Narcissus as it is a trusted brand too.

amazinganne @jenniferj1s the pickles are made from the stem & savoury vs leaves in kimchi & spicy. Try it, I hardly know anyone who does not like this. It is like the must have ingredient in every chinese household to eat with porridge.1 likeReply
