Pickled Lettuce

I love pickled lettuce as it goes so well with porridge. This Narcissus brand tastes as good as the Triple A (AAA) brand at S$1.65 & is a lot cheaper at S$0.85. I guess it is due to the can being lighter than the glass bottle. I also note that Narcissus has sugar which AAA does not. It also does not state if it is preservative, colour & MSG free, which AAA states. So I guess AAA has a better quality & therefore higher price. There is not much difference in taste. My budget conscious bf goes for Narcissus as it is a trusted brand too.

This was lovely. It was evenly cut and the lettuce had a crunch and was tasty. Good on its own or an a side dish.

Would never buy it normally but my mum used it in porridge she cooked tonight. Omg I loved it. The texture really added to the dish and i love it that way! Couldt tasted too much among he other ingredients but I love a good crunch and this was it
