On our road trip in Italy we stopped a few times at #autogrill their motorway services. Sometimes there was nothing for vegans but this time I enjoyed their new vegan croissant made with whole meal flour.

On a short road trip in Italy. Found this popular cafe in Alba right by our airbnb. No vegan menu but the staff member (after pulling a face) agreed to take everything dairy off the vegetarian breakfast. We both laughed more
Loved this bustling cafe on the corner from where we were staying in Alba. Very limited vegan options but a helpful member of staff suggested this striking black #croissant It was light and soft centred with a sweet glaze. more

I think I reviewed this a year or so ago. It’s still very good. I mean broccoli is great with nothing added right? These grilled stems are cooked in oil and garlic and have a scattering of delicious seeds. You can taste more
There’s a dedicated vegan menu at Wahaca.
I chose this #beantostada for a nice protein hit and got a good boost from all the chili n spice in there too.

We were meeting friends on the Southbank in London and chose Wahaca. It’s a Mexican cantina constructed from shipping containers painted in rich colour.
