The Blue Butterfly is a limited edition vegan flavor from my favorite ice cream place ever, Cookman Creamery! It is made with blue butterfly pea flowers which give it this beautiful periwinkle hue. To me this flavor tastes like a combination of Lotus Biscoff cookies and honeysuckle flowers. However, my friends all liken its flavor to something different, so you’ll just have to try for yourself!

Marinated greens, eggplant falafel, spiced chickpeas, pickled red onions, kalamata olives, & cashew tzatziki. The eggplant falafel was my favorite part for sure! Amazing flavor and presentation as always. If I were to make any changes I would ditch the kale (too bitter and overpowering for this dish in my opinion), and include waaay more pickled red onions.

Salted Chocolate Chip Cookie

Don’t tell the other local bakeries I show love to, but this vegan chocolate chip cookie from Cardinal might be the best cookie I’ve ever had PERIOD. Rich, sweet, soft, with a sprinkle of flaky salt. So yummy I almost forgot to take a photo before devouring it! From main dishes to pastries everything I’ve gotten from Cardinal Provisions is truly gourmet. 😘👌🍪

My boyfriend surprised me with a box of these donuts one day and I've been so excited to try all the vegan options ever since! Purple Glaze is a women-owned local donut shop with an excellent vegan selection run by two of the loveliest most talented pastry chefs (in my humble opinion 😉) in all of Jersey. The mango tango is sooo yummy you’ll want to do a lil dance!

My favorite extra firm tofu ever!!! The texture/ density is perfect and this tofu barely needs to be pressed. I used it to make pan fried agave chili glazed tofu with caramelized onions with rosemary and purple sage from my garden 👩‍🍳🌱✨

New Mexico Bowl (VEGAN & GF)

This salad includes bbq cauliflower, marinated greens, pickled jalapeños, crunchy slaw, rice & beans, topped with a green chili cashew crema. Perfect combination and ratio of flavors, very filling, nutritious, and pretty too! Every vegan dish I’ve had from Cardinal is so delicious and well made — I hope they continue to add more vegan options to their menu 🥗💚😋

I can’t get enough of these! Not all of TJ’s mini mochi flavors are vegan so be sure to triple check the ingredients. You can’t go wrong with the mango though — so yummy! ✨🥭😋
