Happy Fry-Day!! 🇧🇪 🍟 Some of the best fries i’ve EVER had! Proper chunky and crisp. I sourced out this place on a city break to Brussels a few years ago. After a lot of research, I found out that their Belgian Fries were fried in vegetable oil which is quite rare as most places seemed to fry in animal fat. You order outside and take your fries away or in my case, eat them whilst admiring the ancient architecture in “Grand-Place”! 😎 #belgianfries #abillionlove #veganbelgium

🌱🥰🇧🇪 TERO is definitely my favorite restaurant in Belgium that I have tried yet ! They have great values and so many vegan options, even desserts. If you are visiting Brussels I really recommend trying it. They change their menu with the seasons, so you may not have this exactly dish ☺️ Here I took the Pointed head cabbage, sweet paprika, caraway and pine nuts. This weekend I went to the « Vegan street festival » in Brussels 🌱🌱🥰 I tried this Vegan pizza and it was the best vegan pizza I have never tried (expect a simple marinara pizza because I also love simplicity) 😅 They cook the pizza in a pizza oven, it makes it so authentic ☺️ I really recommend it, they have a restaurant in Ghent #vegan #pizza #belgium #veganpizza #cheese #pesto

I LOVED IT😍 Especially the chips are super original (waffle potatoes, very in line with Belgian traditions) and tasty! The falafel bagel also was very good, made of (in French ): Bagel au sésame , falafels, houmous, tomates cerises, betterave rouge, tzaziki, gomasio, jeunes pousses d’épinard, feuilles d’oseille rouge. 😋😋😋

I really enjoyed these blackberry pancakes from Oats Day Long in Antwerp. Unsurprisingly, oats are main focus of this restaurant/coffee bar, so the pancakes were made of oats and the yoghurt on top of the pancakes was also made from oats! I really liked the addition of tahini on top of the pancakes, but I’m not a fan of grapefruit so I didn’t like that being on top. If I visit in future I would definitely order these again, but I would ask them not to add the grapefruit 😬 The place had a very vegan friendly menu, but a few dishes contained salmon/egg, hopefully they’ll change this in the future. #belgium #veganpancakes #veganbelgium

Wow! I honestly I couldn’t believe how great these pancakes tasted when I first took a bite. Probably the best vegan pancakes I have ever had. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly and they also had a really lovely nutmeg flavour. The pancakes were really fluffy and they were also served with what seemed to be a vegan whipped butter. My only criticism with the taste is that they were so rich (I think because of the butter) that I couldn’t actually finish them, which is unusual for me. Excellent all round, a little less heavy and they would have been perfection! #veganpancakes #pancakes

The waffles here are not advertised as vegan but I confirmed with the Otto himself that they are. They are made with high quality ingredients like coconut sugar. I preferred this basic version to the fancier ones with toppings and ate it whilst exploring the beautiful streets of Bruges 🧇 #waffles

Hello dream!!! 🤩 @curtistheweirdcat and I went for brunch today in this fabulousss vegan café and had the best comfort food to soak up out hungover. I had this bagel with a scrambled egg substitute (still thinking about what it was made of, not sure, it was not 100% egg-y, but it was really sooo tasty in its own rights), #bacon , #caramelisedonion , and #vegancheddar all melted and saucy. Today I tripped, fell, and badly injured my knee in what I can only assume was my body preparing to kneel to the majesty that is this #sandwich 🥪 The #veganbacon they use is from The Vegetarian Butcher so this was pretty much a guaranteed winner but I think what I was most impressed by was the #gouda 🙌 My memory may be a little hazy since I last had the “real” thing in 2019 but it tasted perfect! 🤩 This was a perfect #blt because I haven’t absolutely no notes! 📝 Their kitchen is closed so they’re only serving desserts and sandwiches at the moment [1], but with a sandwich this good it’s hardly a problem. This was only €8,50 for a serving that was more than enough for two 🙌 [1]: The moment is 19 July 2024 — #bringbackdates 😭

This is it 🥲 This is the best #burger I’ve ever had 😭 I’ve come a long way from begrudgingly eating portobello burgers with @stevenneoh after work to learning how to properly claw and eat one from @m1tch9i and now actually enjoying them 🫣 Maybe one day I’ll even enjoy pizza! 🍕 The #patty is #battered mushrooms in what tasted like a sesame #teriyaki glaze — The menu won’t say 😅 What they do mention is the amazing #gochujang sauce, #kimchi slaw, and even an amazing homemade #kewpie mayo! I only had 1 waffle 🧇 in my life before, back when I was still vegetarian and I really liked it. After going vegan I hadn’t had another chance until last week in Bruxelles. And it was fantastic! The waffle itself was delicious, a bit crunchy and soft at the same time. On top there was a creamy #chocolate sauce and a huge blob of soft, fluffy whipped cream 😋 Luscious, decadent and sweet. The place is in a shopping arcade just off Grande Place where we then went to admire the amazing flower carpet that you can see in the pictures #chocoholic #sweettooth #waffles #govegan #goveganfortheanimals #reviewwithaview
