Finding gluten free bread that is also vegan can be tough.  Even harder is finding a brand that tastes good.  I was so happy when I discovered Little Northern Bakehosue!  They have a wide variety of sliced breads, but also burger buns, bagels, and more.  I've loved everything I've tried.  The Seeds & Grains bread is my go-to for sandwiches or just a nice piece of toast with jam.

YO!  Whole Foods is now carrying the Cookout Classic package of Beyond Burgers!  They were also recently on sale, so I stocked up.  These burgers are so good for a cookout, or also when you're in a pinch for a quick dinner.

Plant protein

I don't often write bad reviews, but this protein powder just didn't do it for me.  I was using Care/Of's vitamins for a while a few years ago, and somewhere along the line I got a sampler pack of their plant based protein powders.  I tried it a couple of times, but I found it chaulky and just not a good flavor.  I couldn't manage to finish them all, and here we are, 2 years later, and this sample is still in my pantry.

Tailwind Recovery has been a Godsend for me, especially after LONG LONG bike rides in the heat and humidity.  What's great is that you can just add it to a bottle of water and shake it up, so you can mix it on the go. It goes down easy, so not only are you re-hydrating after a long workout, but also getting in some good protein and carbs to kickstart your recovery.  My go-to is always the chocolate!

The world is opening back up and that means triathlons are back!  Tailwind Endurance Fuel has been my drink of choice on the bike several years.  They offer many flavors, both caffinated and non-caffinated.  All of the flavors are light enough that you really can't go wrong, but I prefer the Naked Unflavored, which just provides a little sweetness. I never had breakfast sausage patties before going vegetarian and then vegan, but these Beyond Sausage Breakfast Patties are really great.  They cook up really quickly - just about 10 minutes in the toaster over.  I cook them while also heating up my Just Egg.  Good on the sandwich on or the side.
