Plant chef Spiced Tikka Sauce

While I was really happy to see that there was a convenient vegan curry sauce available, the taste was a bit lacking in flavour if I’m honest. Totally okay if you’re looking for a quick meal, but don’t rely on this for a ‘good’ curry. The jar says medium heat but I honestly couldn’t tell there was any heat at all! Not bad, could be better.

Elderflower mint lightly sparkling with 15mg CBD

Spotted these in a vegan deli in town and felt like I needed to try them! This flavour had a distinct floral taste (likely from the elderflower) and while I didn’t mind it, I don’t think I’d be able to drink a whole can in one go.

The Kashmiri Spice Pizza

Considering this pizza had a 3 chilli heat rating, I’d definitely say this wasn’t that hot! Really nice taste to it and surprisingly filling for it’s size. Tad expensive at £3.00 but lovely for a easy pizza night.

GRO Sticky Toffee Pudding

Not bad for a quick vegan dessert by any means! I’d say it has a basic toffee taste but still good. Perfect with vegan ice cream!

Quarter Pounders

Naked Glory burgers are one of my favourite vegan meats for flavour and texture. Very comparable to meat and I’ve heard many compliments from non-vegans that they actually prefer these burgers to meat! Great size and while a tad expensive, worth it for the quality.

Twisted Tree Vintage Cider

The other flavour of Twisted Tree cider from Aldi. I have to say this one tastes like your standard cider, quite light and slightly sweet. Can’t go wrong!

Oh have I been looking for this product for soooo long! Was so excited to try this, popped a couple of slices into a toasted sandwich and my word it was fantastic. It certainly does melt better than a lot of other cheese alternatives and I really like the smoked flavour. The packaging could be better and you don’t get much for the price but so worth it for a treat.

Considering they are a major brand within meat products, I was blown away by the taste and presentation of the packaging which featured a book type, recipe box! Quite good for value too.

Twisted Tree Rose Cider

Can you imagine my surprise when I stumbled on this vegan cider in Aldi? This was one of 2 flavours I saw and this Rose cider was actually quite light and refreshing. I love the design of the can and the price was really affordable. Certainly would pick up a few of these for a summer bbq!

Four Berry Medley

I’ve recently made the cost effective swap of buying frozen fruit to have with my breakfast porridge & granola and what a swap that’s been! Not only does the fruit seem to be of better quality but you get so much more for the price (save so much on food waste!) Nice selection of berries which is good!
