Jack & Annie’s Smoky Pulled Pork is sooo tasty! I will definitely be buying this

again. The smokiness is evident, and I also added a little ginger bbq sauce half way into cooking on the stove. I sandwiched my jackfruit in between some vegan naan 🫓, then added some avocado on top 🥑, it was 💯 !
Jackfruit is so amazing— it feels like you’re eating a savory faux meat, yet in actuality you’re eating FRUIT! It’s really the best and feels so good.

I was gonna say this product was a disappointment but maybe it was because we

didn't cook it properly or something. But it was definitely not as good as expected. The flavor was weird in some parts and good in others, I'm not sure how to explain, it just tasted weird to me. It was difficult to cook and difficult to eat, wouldn't buy it again.
Maybe it would be good with coleslaw or something.
We got it at Whole Foods but can't really remember the price, probably not great value. I gave 5 stars to presentation and originality because it does a great job looking like pulled pork.
This brand is really vegan-friendly, we will probably try more of their stuff later on.
Package had nice design, nice colors and recyclable ♻️

Made from jackfruit (which I have tried before but previously didn't like) these flavorful chunks

and shreds have a very tasty smoky barbecue flavoring and smell to them as well as a good chewy texture. I found that to sautee this jackfruit product in a pan properly it helps to cut down/ shred into smaller pieces some of the larger chunks in the package. We made tacos filled with this jackfruit pork substitute, taco veggies and added barbecue sauce instead of salsa or taco sauce and the results were delicious.
