APADRINA A BELLOTA 🐗💗 EL JABALÍ CIEGO QUE MIRA CON LOS OJOS DEL CORAZÓN
Bellota llegó en mayo del 2022, os contamos su historia:
Bellota es un rayón (bebé de jabalí) que apareció con días de vida, ciego, desnutrido y siguiendo a un ciclista desesperadamente pensando que era la madre que había perdido.
Una persona se lo llevó a su casa y le alimentó, y a los pocos días llegaba a Fundación Santuario Vegan.
Desde el primer día iniciamos un tratamiento porque su ceguera parecía de origen infeccoioso, y tenía articulaciones inflamadas, que nos hacían pensar en una arttritis séptica. Ese era un cuadro de salud grave.
Laura, presidenta del santuario, se responsabilizó de él y ha sido su mamá adoptiva cada hora desde entonces. Gracias a sus cuidados y atenciones ha mejorado de su infección.
Sus ojos han sido revisados por una oftalmóloga y nos ha confirmado que lo más probable es que se quede ciego. Pero aún así hemos empezado un nuevo tratamiento como última oportunidad de que recupere su vista.
Independientemente de que llegue a ver o no, vamos a hacer que sea feliz en el Santuario. Que pueda tener una familia que le quiera, un espacio adaptado a su condición y muchos cuidados y amor que garanticen su bienestar.
Bellota es un bebé que crece por días. Ha hecho muchos amigos de otras especies y cada día descubre cosas nuevas. Constantemente busca el cariño y la seguridad que Laura, su mamá adoptiva, le da. Y eso es todo lo que, por el momento, necesita para sentirse feliz.
Recientemente ha llegado Castaña, otro rayón de jabalí con tan solo una semana de vida, que será el hermano adoptivo de Bellota y que, además, será su lazarillo. Estamos seguros de que Bellota y Castaña van a crear el más fuerte vínculo y serán muy, muy felices juntos.

Acorn arrived in May 2022, we tell you its story:
Acorn is a rayón (baby wild boar) who appeared days old, blind, malnourished and desperately following a cyclist thinking that she was the mother he had lost.
A person took him to his house and fed him, and a few days later he arrived at Fundación Santuario Vegan.
From the first day we began treatment because his blindness seemed to be of infectious origin, and he had inflamed joints, which made us think of septic arthritis. That was a serious health picture.
Laura, president of the sanctuary, took responsibility for him and has been his foster mom every hour since. Thanks to his care and attention, his infection has improved.
His eyes have been checked by an ophthalmologist and she has confirmed that he is most likely going blind. But still we have started a new treatment as the last chance for him to get his sight back.
Regardless of whether he gets to see or not, we are going to make him happy in Sanctuary. That he can have a family that loves him, a space adapted to his condition and lots of care and love that guarantee his well-being.
Acorn is a baby that grows for days. He has made many friends from other species and discovers new things every day. He constantly seeks the love and security that Laura, his adoptive mother, gives him. And that's all he, for the moment, he needs to feel happy.
Castaña has recently arrived, another wild boar ray just one week old, who will be Bellota's adoptive brother and who will also be his guide. We are sure that Acorn and Chestnut will create the strongest bond and will be very, very happy together.
