[EN] 🌱 If you are in Warsaw's district of Gocław, you should definitely try "Himalaya. Indo-Nepalese Cuisine".
🌶️ I went there for the first time because we were in the area with my wife and the place had long opening hours. And it is so good that we like going back there. 💚
🍅 Himalaya is located in an not the best looking pavilion. But just by getting close, you can feel the incredible aroma of spices from the inside, which is a preview of what we will find there. Honest and delicious Nepalese - Indian cuisine, with some Thai dishes. I have a terrible sentiment for this type of place. 😉
🧅 There are some vegetarian options on the menu, there are also vegan ones. This time I decided to order chana masala, which is chickpeas with Nepalese spices in a slightly spicy sauce. And it was a very good choice.  It wasn't spicy but very aromatic, you could feel the garam masala and turmeric and tomato sauce. The dish is marked as vegan, mine had some paneer cheese inside. Probably by accident, so pay attention to that when ordering. 🫛 The portions are big. The food is delicious. The service is great. I recommend it! 👍🏻

🌶️ Pierwszy raz trafiłem tam, bo akurat byliśmy z żoną w okolicy, mieli też długo czynne. No i okazało się, że jest tak spoko, że lubimy tam wracać. 💚
🍅 Himalaya mieści się w niepozornym pawilonie. Ale już na zewnątrz czuć niesamowity aromat przypraw, co jest zapowiedzią tego, co znajdziemy w środku. Czyli szczerą, pyszną kuchnię Nepalu, Indii, trochę dań tajskich. Mam straszny sentyment do tego typu lokali. 😉
🧅 W menu sporo opcji wegetariańskich, są też wegańskie. Tym razem zdecydowałem się na chana masala, czyli ciecierzycę z nepalskimi przyprawami w lekko pikantnym sosie. I był to bardzo dobry wybór. Nie było ostre ale bardzo aromatyczne, czuć było garam masalę, kurkumę. To wszystko w pomidorowym sosie. Danie jest oznaczone jako wegańskie, w moim znalazło się trochę sera paneer. Pewnie przez przypadek, więc zwróćcie na to uwagę przy zamawianiu.
🫛 Porcje są duże. Jedzenie pyszne. Obsługa super. Polecam! 👍🏻

It is nice to smell spices from a restaurant you are going to!
A shame about the cheese. I hope they don't include it in vegan dishes too often!

🌶️ Noodles, tofu, seasoned pieces of seitan, mushrooms, crispy onion. All of this is covered in a fresh, mild and umami-filled broth. The soup has a beautiful yellow color. I don't know what it comes from. The turmeric wasn't too noticeable... Maybe the burnt onion? 🤔 Doesn't matter, it's delicious! Great new dish! 💚

🥖 It's ready to eat, but since the lady in the shop suggested heating it up, I agreed with pleasure.
🌶️ There's no point in writing long, it's simply great! 💚 The bun crisps up nicely after heating. The vegan non-beef is delicious, with a light mushroom aroma. Inside: red onion, bell pepper, lettuce and jalapeno peppers. There's also a yellow sauce, described as jalapeno-flavored, but you can't feel the spiciness at all. However, it nicely moisturizes the sandwich.
🫛 The whole thing is great! Just a bit spicy and very well composed. I hope it will return to Żabka stores someday! 👍🏻

🥖 Jest gotowa do jedzenia ale ponieważ pani w sklepie zaproponowała podgrzanie, ochoczo zgodziłem się.
🌶️ Nie ma co się rozpisywać, to jest świetne! 💚 Bułka po podgrzaniu przyjemnie chrupie. Wegańska nie-wołowina jest pyszna, z lekkim grzybowym aromatem. Do tego: czerwona cebula, papryka sałata oraz papryczki jalapeno. Jest też żółty sos, niby o smaku jalapeno ale zupełnie nie czuć w nim ostrości, niemniej przyjemnie nawilża wnętrze.
🫛 Całość jest super! Lekko pikantna i bardzo dobrze skomponowana. Mam nadzieję, że kiedyś jeszcze wróci do Żabki! 👍🏻

As you can see, the sauce that is the filling has been supplemented with minced soy-meat from @[Garden Gourmet](brand-5cccd5b580ddcd00049bb290). It sounds and looks tempting 🙂 And how does it taste?
🥕 First of all, it's a cold snack. It costs PLN 4.99, so it's a pretty good price. Let's start with the dough. The taste is ok, unfortunately it is not crispy at all. Maybe it would be better right after baking, but if it rests for a while, it is like a frozen microwave pizza. 🫤 Plus for a sprinkle of grains and salt, which nicely enriches the taste (something for fans of Krakow's obwarzanki 😉)
🌶️ The sauce is nice. You can feel the tomatoes 🍅 Although I didn't see any vegetables, so either they're blended with tomatoes or I got the one without them. The addition of soy meat is definitely a plus. It just needs more herbs.
🧅 To sum up, it's nothing special. But... I'd gladly buy it again. Because we have a snack suitable for vegans, at a decent price and hopefully available (unlike the ghost veggie hot dog). It fills the plant-based snack segment that was missing in Żabka's offer. 👍🏻

[EN] 🌱 A new veggie hot dog has appeared at #orlen gas stations, so at. Stop Cafe. It replaced the previous sausage. It is described as vegetarian but is suitable for vegans 🌱
🥕 The main difference: it is not an imitation of a traditional hot dog but a vegetable version with kale, lentils, carrots, quinoa and sunflower seeds in the ingredients. So it is a bit like a veggie hot dog from IKEA.
🫛 So opinions will probably be different. Because people expecting a plant-based alternative to meat, they will be disappointed. 🤷🏻 I can only rate it as objectively as possible. The bun and sauces are the same, let's focus on the sausage. This one is slightly dry and hard, which is probably due to the lentils in the composition. It goes with souces, so it is not a problem. You can feel each vegetable taste but there is a lack of spices. With this composition, it just begs for a hint of curry. It is ok, although it could be better.
 🍅 It's also hard to compare it to the previous version, because they are two different products. It would be the great if both options were available 😉

[PL] 🌱 Na stacjach #orlen czyli Stop Cafe pojawił się nowy wege hot dog, który zastąpił poprzednią parówę. Jest opisany jako wegetariański ale jest odpowiedni dla wegan 🌱
🥕 Zasadnicza różnica: nie jest to imitacja tradycyjnej parówy ale wersja warzywna z jarmużem, soczewicą, marchewką, komosą ryżową i słonecznikiem w składzie. Przypomina więc trochę wege hot doga z IKEA.
🫛 I pewnie zdania będą podzielone. Bo jak ktoś oczekuje roślinnej alternatywy dla mięsa, to będzie zawiedziony. 🤷🏻 Mi pozostaje ocenić to jak najbardziej obiektywnie. Bułka i sosy są te same, skupimy się na parówce. Ta jest lekko sucha i zbita, co zapewne zawdzięcza soczewicy w składzie. Są sosy, więc to w ogóle nie przeszkadza. [EN] 🌱 A new veggie hot dog has appeared at #orlen gas stations, so at. Stop Cafe. It replaced the previous sausage. It is described as vegetarian but is suitable for vegans 🌱
🥕 The main difference: it is not an imitation of a traditional hot dog but a vegetable version with kale, lentils, carrots, quinoa and sunflower seeds in the ingredients. So it is a bit like a veggie hot dog from IKEA.
🫛 So opinions will probably be different. Because people expecting a plant-based alternative to meat, they will be disappointed. 🤷🏻 I can only rate it as objectively as possible. The bun and sauces are the same, let's focus on the sausage. This one is slightly dry and hard, which is probably due to the lentils in the composition. It goes with souces, so it is not a problem. You can feel each vegetable taste but there is a lack of spices. With this composition, it just begs for a hint of curry. It is ok, although it could be better.
 🍅 It's also hard to compare it to the previous version, because they are two different products. It would be the great if both options were available 😉

🥕 Zasadnicza różnica: nie jest to imitacja tradycyjnej parówy ale wersja warzywna z jarmużem, soczewicą, marchewką, komosą ryżową i słonecznikiem w składzie. Przypomina więc trochę wege hot doga z IKEA.
🫛 I pewnie zdania będą podzielone. Bo jak ktoś oczekuje roślinnej alternatywy dla mięsa, to będzie zawiedziony. 🤷🏻 Mi pozostaje ocenić to jak najbardziej obiektywnie. Bułka i sosy są te same, skupimy się na parówce. Ta jest lekko sucha i zbita, co zapewne zawdzięcza soczewicy w składzie. Są sosy, więc to w ogóle nie przeszkadza. 🌶️ Today I am testing Damae Ramen Spicy from #nissin The ingredients are typical for instant dishes, so I won't complain 😉 The preparation is simple: just cook the noodles for a few minutes, add the sachets and mix.
🫛 It's supposed to be spicy and it is 🔥 Unfortunately, that's all when describing the taste. I like spicy dishes, but it's nice when this spiciness is combined with other flavors. Here it's simply spicy and that's it.
🥕 Nevertheless, it's nice that there is a #vlabel marking and that there are more plant-based options even among instant noodles 🍜

🌶️ I've always been tempted by this, but the price put me off. But oh well, it's here... waiting... got the microwave... So how can I not buy? 😉
🫛 I tried it with a dose of skepticism... But it's not bad. The sauce is pleasant, you can feel the sweetness and soy sauce, something like teriyaki. Both tofu and lentils are fine. The noodles are worse. Unfortunately, someone forgot to add salt for cooking. Tasteless.
🥕 I wouldn't normally buy it. But if it's on sale, take it for a "rainy day". 🙂

🌶️ Zawsze mnie kusiło, jednak cena odstraszała. No ale cóż, jest... czeka... mikrofala jest... No to jak nie kupić? 😉
🫛 Próbuję z dozą sceptycyzmu... Ale nie jest źle. Sos jest przyjemny, czuć słodycz i sos sojowy, czyli coś na kształt teriyaki. I tofu i soczewica w porządku. Gorzej z makaronem. Niestety, ktoś zapomniał dosypać soli do gotowania. Bez smaku.
🥕 Normalnie bym nie kupił. Ale jak będzie w promce, bierzcie na "czarną godzinę". 🙂

[EN] 🌱 Asian cuisine has been getting better in Zakopane in Poland. This is good for people on a plant-based diet, because there are more and more places that clearly mark vegan and veggie options. 🙂
🌶️ One of such places is Thai Spot, where I ordered "Kaeng Keow Waan" - green curry with coconut milk. Served with tofu, peppers, zucchini and eggplant. It is marked as hot but mine was just lightly, pleasantly spicy. Aromatic sauce with a pleasant addition of Thai basil. I also really liked the eggplant. 💚 The whole thing is very nicely served in an enamel pot.
🫛 Thai Spot is a very nice place with friendly service. It is located in single-family house, inside it is mega cozy, colorful and warm. They also have a nice, summer garden. But most importantly, the food is great! The drinks too! I recommend it!  👍🏻

[PL] 🌱 Ostatnio w Zakopanem coraz lepiej z kuchnią azjatycką. Dla osób na diecie roślinnej to dobrze, bo przybywa miejsc, w których wyraźnie oznaczone są opcje wegan i wege. 🙂
🌶️ Jednym z takich miejsc jest @thaispotzakopane Zamawiam "Kaeng Keow Waan" czyli zielone curry na mleku kokosowym. Serwowane z tofu, papryką, cukinią i bakłażanem. Jest oznaczone jako ostre ale moje było tak lekko, przyjemnie pikantne. Sos aromatyczny ze świetnym dodatkiem tajskiej bazylii. Bardzo smakował mi też bakłażan. 💚 Całość bardzo fajnie podana w emaliowanym garnuszku.
🫛 Thai Spot to bardzo fajne miejsce z miłą obsługą. Znajduje się w niepozornym budynku ale w środku jest mega przytulnie, kolorowo i zachęcająco. Mają też przyjemny, letni ogródek. Ale co najważniejsze, jedzenie super! Napoje też! Polecam! 👍🏻

[EN] 🌱 What to eat in Zakopane, capital of Polish Tatra mountains? There are plenty of options, but we always head to Bar Górski (Mountain Bar).
🥕 This is a place in the city center, where you can eat a bit cheaper, home-cooked and tasty meal. Most importantly, they have clearly marked vegetarian and vegan options 👍🏻 Unfortunately, my favorite vegan broth has disappeared from the menu, replaced by tomato soup. 🤷🏻
🍅 This time I was tempted by beetroot cutlets with sage. Served with mushroom sauce, rice and set of salads. The cutlets are very good. 💚 They have the addition of sunflower and sesame seeds, the aroma of sage pleasantly enriches the taste of beetroot. The mushroom sauce is very nice. The salads are beetroot, sauerkraut and carrot. The only thing to complain  is that the rice is not the best. Next time I will change it to potatoes.

🥕 To miejsce w samym centrum, gdzie zjemy ciut taniej, domowo i smacznie. Co najważniejsze, mają wyraźnie zaznaczone opcje wege i wegan 👍🏻 Niestety z menu zniknął mój ulubiony wege rosół, zastąpiła go pomidorowa. 🤷🏻
🍅 Tym razem skusiłem się na kotlety buraczane z szałwią. Do tego sos grzybowy, ryż, surówki. Kotlety bardzo dobre. 💚 Mają dodatek słonecznika i sezamu, do tego aromat szałwi przyjemnie przełamuje smak buraka. Sos grzybowy bardzo przyjemny. Surówki to buraczki, kapusta kiszona i marchewka. Smaczne. Jedynie czego można się przyczepić to nie najlepszy ryż. Następnym razem wymienię na ziemniaki.
