Scot based in London, but seeking out plant based food wherever I go. (Mostly) nut free as my partner has a severe allergy - so finding places that cater to multiple requirements is important to me!
Sweetcorn fritter side from the Thai stand in this food market. These were really good - crunchy on the outside, soft inside. The spicy sauce contains peanuts - with chilli and cucumber.
Great food at this Thai stand within a busy food hall. The Thai green curry was great - big serving, spicy and warming with lots of tofu.
Loved this vegan saag roti - so green and super tasty, unusual vegan bread option - great at soaking up curry.
Vegan vegetable masala - good selection of vegetables, medium hot and very tasty. Also super good value. There’s a good selection of vegan curries available at this nice restaurant.
Nice to see these vegan certified boots from George at Asda. They’re smart enough, really good price and based on my pair last year don’t wear too quickly despite the price. Good everyday boots in the cold.
New mint reindeers for Christmas from Nomo - really nice mint chocolate flavour with a smooth filling.
These garlic butter waffle fries are super tasty - garlicky and salty. I’d have preferred them to be a little crispier but still great - and the sharing portion is huge.
Excited to find this nut free vegan carrot cake! It was really moist with a good cream cheese style icing and topped with seeds for crunch. Really good value as free with a main on a Monday.
Burrito filled with smoked vegan cheese, sweetcorn, black beans, spicy rice and pickled cabbage. Served with tortilla chips. Really good value at £8.95 (with free dessert on Mondays). The vegan menu here had lots of different more
Super good special edition vegan pizza - with harissa aubergine, Mexican spiced sweetcorn and finished with zhoug. So many strong flavours here - lots of spice and garlic - but it works really well.
