Hello lovely people! I’m visiting Japan soon & I hear vegan eating is pretty difficult, mainly because of the fish based stocks that are widely used. Are there any Japanese vegans on this forum that give me any advice?

I was so looking forward to this but was a little disappointed. The sauce wasn’t rich enough & was too sweet. Normally love the dishes from this restaurant so maybe my expectations were too high 🥲

I was so looking forward to this chocolate bar but was a little disappointed. Like many other vegan chocolate bars, the texture wasn’t quite right. It was a little hard & kind of waxy, a bit like cheap cows milk chocolate. more
This is a very good plant based ice cream although a little too sweet & not enough pretzel pieces for my taste. It has a lovely creamy texture & is good value when it’s on offer

Enjoyed these Sunshine Deli ‘beef’ slices enormously. Had some as part of a Christmas buffet & finished them off on open topped sandwiches on a baguette with sliced piccolo tomatoes, cucumber, rocket & a touch of wholegrain more
