Grain Free Mexican Wedding Cookies

The wedding cookies I enjoyed in my pre-vegan years were coated in powdered sugar, so I thought these cookies looked naked at first without the white coating. But I love the tiny size and crunchy texture. They melt in your mouth and the rich, expensive-feeling sensation they leave behind reminds me of good shortbread, a decadent little treat.

Every product I've tried from this brand has impressed me. These cookies would be great on a cheese board as a sweet option or used as a garnish for vanilla ice cream.

I actually hate cookies. But these are more like biscotti pieces and it’s amazing! 

Never had Mexican shortbread before. They are a bit too sweet for my taste, and they do not taste like other kind of shortbread that I know and love ( Scottish shortbread).

These are pretty healthy by cookie standards. They’re very crunchy, so best with tea or coffee. I don’t think they are special enough to warrant the price, but they’re certainly not bad.

These tasted great. The almond flavor was pretty strong and I love that they’re gluten free. The cookies are pretty small though.
