Silk

I should not have compromised on #BDS to try this but it was on sale. If I had looked closer at the ingredients first I would have known it’s one of these awful coconut oil cream cheeses that have been around for years. more

Better Bears

Only slightly better flavour than the root beer bears but still off in the texture department. I had the google the main ingredient in these to understand what kind of molecular derivative of glucose it was. Way too goopy more

Better Bears

Not my thing at all, the texture is very soft gummy bordering on goopy. Very small amount of bears compared to the size of the bag (not even 1/4 full). Would not buy again and do not recommend!

Harvest & Lea

Too spicy for my liking. A grocery outlet find. The roll is only slightly different than your average rice cake. I can see why this ended up at GO.

I consider myself a bit of dill pickle snob and everywhere I live I go on a journey trying to find the best ones. Sunshine is one of the best shelf stable options I have found is a sea of dill pickle options. It is not that more

Specially flown in by my partner at my request. You can’t find Ying Ying outside of the GTA (Greater Toronto area) but they’re tofu is my favourite. Better than Hodo, which is also American and pricier because of import more

The Plant Based Workshop

There used to be a The Workshop Vegetarian near my apartment in East Van when I first moved there but they quickly shut it down and kept only the North Van location. After that I switched to buying their frozen stuff in more

I found these are Grocery Outlet, they’re fine. Not very big. Would get again for the right price but not better or worse than anything else on the market and not noticeably Omni pork.

These are my favourite BBQ buns, I buy them whenever I’m in Toronto. Not a fan of the HK style crackle top one, only these closed ones. The TVA Vegfest is what got me hooked on these and the turnip cakes. A great snack! more
