The crunch! The shine! My go-to korean fried ~ meal. Love that they use tofu rather than meat alternatives. Tofu could be crispier fried in smaller pieces, but ain’t complainin’! Leave out the kimslaw to make it vegan.
Love the banh mi! The baguette is crisp on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of bite. Love that this authentic vietnamese joint offers a ton of vegan options, and gives tofu not just more
I love mala but found this ($11) kinda disappointing. The mala tasted like the haidilao mala sauce packet and the soup was heavy on salt / msg as other reviewers found of the regular vegan pho! The tofu (taupok) was also more
SO LEGIT!!! you know it’s good just from the presentation alone. they got all the right crisp, char and stickiness that you want in a stick of yakitori!
downside is all the dishes here are kinda expensive for a casual dinner

Air-fried to crispy goodness. Only just discovered you can get this hawker favourite at ntuc frozen section? I swear old school beancurd skin is the best vegan protein / snack / everything. Edwin said to me today “should more
I enjoy having my sushi rolls with meat alternatives for that added bite that tofu lacks - so was excited to see JUST egg *and* TINDLE katsu in one roll (hurray for vegan options!). Coming with high hopes for my virgin JUST/TINDLE more
These were tiny and delicate and just the perfect mouthfuls. I’d never had podi idli before but it was love at first bite. (For noobs like me: they’re steamed fermented rice+lentil cakes coated in a punchy spice powder). more
