These ‘chicken’ skewers were really nice. I liked the char from the BBQ and the sauce. I would have liked another veg/side dish to this for the price. A great vegan restaurant here in #london

When I saw curry #goat on the menu, I knew I had to order this. It’s so unique in Europe, especially a vegan version!! I never had goat before going vegan so didn’t really know what to expect but it reminded me of a beef more

photo of Chapter 72 Soup of the day shared by @appleappleamanda on 19 Nov 2024 - review

Not a vegan restaurant but on the day I visited, this #soup was vegan when the sourdough was served without butter. It was described as a #lentil soup but there was another flavor I couldn’t quite put my finger on. It wasn’t more

ALDI

These have been my fave #protein pasta so far. The texture is almost like normal pasta and doesn’t mush as easily as comparable products. I’m not even #glutenfree but I enjoy this for the nutritional benefits and also find more

This felt very nutritious and, with all the fermented foods, #guthealthy. The flavours were nice enough for a lunch on the go. It’s lighter so be sure to grab something to go with it if you’re planning on this as a full more

Plant Kitchen (M&S)

#recyclable, #palmoilfree

This is obviously going to taste delicious, how could it not!! It’s sweet and rich. The jar is glass which I like too. It is a bit pricey but that’s M&S for you.

I’m surprised I’m the first to review this, I could have more

stevenneoh I've had and reviewed this before, perhaps under the main M&S brand rather than Plant Kitchen 😬2 likesReply

I did a bit of research and this seemed like the best (only?!) place to get vegan dim sum / main dishes in London’s Chinatown. These dumplings were massive, the biggest I’ve ever had. I really enjoyed the presentation with more

stevenneoh 🤔 In recent memory I think @asiayportia found a few good places in London?2 likesReply
asiayportia Tofu Vegan was an excellent Chinese restaurant, and it has different branches, but I don’t think any of them is in Chinatown 1 likeReply
appleappleamanda Yeah I love tofu vegan! But not in chinatown :)Reply

This sweet bun didn’t taste entirely homemade to me. It was still tasty, but the #apple flavour was very one-note and sweet. Writing this review now I have realized ours was missing the vegan #creamcheese and #cream which more

photo of chaiiwala Brick Lane Vegan Chai shared by @appleappleamanda on 13 Nov 2024 - review

This #chai was horrible. It was super greasy and lacked any natural sweetness from the spices or oatmilk. I almost always finish my food but couldn’t stomach this. My omni friends seemed to enjoy their dairy versions so more

ameriamber I had chai from the Birmingham location and agree that it’s horrible. I wanted to like it but it was disgusting. 1 likeReply

It was very convenient that this #tempeh was already sliced up and marinated. We crumbled it even further and used it in a sauce. I found it at Lidl so it was cheaper than usual, otherwise unsure I would buy this at its more
