A good source of #protein.  Tofu is versatile and can be used in any dish.  I have fried, baked, roasted and used it in desserts.  This pack was used in a chocolate cream pie (not the best picture or presentation) but it works wonderfully in creating a mousse texture.

I found this locally 😱 at Checkers for R69 .  It is a very good quality #[silkentofu](hashtag-5c6ec27333a3a9efa98afff3).  I love the colour and texture.  I have to buy it again as I saw a crepe recipe Vikas shared and I also want to us it in a shashuka 😋 😋 .

Anytime, if you are going to give it a try, don't be as stupid as me, don't add your melted chocolate on the cold tofu, add the chocolate when everything else have been added and when you are ready to start the food processor.... what can I say, not one of my proudest moments  ☺️ 😊 😳 😆

Most people feel the same you, and it can be very blant or even gross.  My husband is actually much better with tofu than I am as he likes all kinds of seasoning where I stick to salt & Pepper.  But in this recipe the tofu only delivers the cream part, the chocolate does all the work.  You can do it! 😃 😊 

He is very cute, I think he will be a chef one day.  I know, that would have been so great, then maybe we would have been chefs as well!

I bought this #[silkentofu](hashtag-5c6ec27333a3a9efa98afff3) to try making vegan scrambled looking egg. It works a treat.
The texture is very smooth and the 380g block breaks up very easily.
I cooked it with #turmeric olive oil and black pepper and it made a tasty breakfast.
The ingredients is mainly #soybean but there is an acidity regulator called #gluconodeltalactone which I read up on as safe to consume but can sometimes cause side effects. Ideally, our food should all be free of these regulators and preservatives. I am going to check the other brands of tofu I buy to see if they are more pure.
