The first few spoons tasted good but gradually the shiitake taste overwhelms the other flavours. Halfway through, there was also a musky taste which could have come from other mushrooms in the mix.

Smells good but actual herbal taste is somewhat lacking in certain areas. For one, dang gui could be stronger and there’s a slight sour tinge. Has a variety of vegetables, but didn’t get to taste the shiitake cos @meowmeowfuzzyface more

Don’t expect this to taste the same as the real stuff, but it’s really good on its own and is quite spicy. It uses seaweed which adds a slight fishy flavour and also good overall texture.

I would gladly give this 5.5/5 stars! It’s that good. Never would I have thought that vegan cakes can be this mind-blowing. It’s a rank above the rest. They use coconut and almond flour instead of wheat. Low carb, no refined more
