These class 1 dates were so good pricey but so worth it . They are so fresh , sweet ,plump and delicious. I ate these with some walnuts and cashews .
I bought them to make a dare and walnut cake but these need no embellishment more

tamiapple I think so, too. People need to learn about what’s happening. And, for those who already know but remain unchanged, at some point, I imagine being reminded/confronted with what’s happening will move them toward change. In America, the mainstream media essentially acts as if factory farms are non existent. As much as I understand the importance of a free press, in this case, their silence is a disgrace and doesn’t seem neutral at all. 1 likeReply

Sometimes i loose my patience there seems to be so much information out there. but we are so targeted that it only gets sent to you if you have already looked for animal rights stuff . So i think it’s easy to keep believing the lie and also to turn a blind eye.

tamiapple Sigh. It is absolutely too easy to turn a blind eye. That’s a large part of the problem. And so incredibly frustrating, considering all the video footage & photography documenting the reality for animals. More video, photography, documentation, writing, art, blogging, reporting, protesting - these are all conversations we’re trying to have with those who turn away, or haven’t yet encountered the truth of what animals unnecessarily endure. All of these conversations will aggregate, at some point, to meaningful change. We are trying to permeate a bubble/belief/system, which is quite a difficult task, unfortunately. 1 likeReply

sanleeping Totally . I have been accused of being in a cult/ religion but actually i think meat eating is a more like a religion - blind belief in a myth and inability to change an out of date custom .

Really good chunky dark chocolate with lots of whole almonds from Dia . Not too sweet but sweet enough and the almonds are of a good quality .
