Vegan since January 2018! đ± Auckland, New Zealand đ
First time having something like this. Delicious filling (think itâs yellow mung beans) and not too sweet. Split it in four to share with others (:

Asian version of âCarrot cakeâ â a savoury, pan-fried food that is traditionally vegan and often served in Dim Sum restaurants with soy sauce etc. Really clean, minimal ingredients and easy to cook!

Really soft and fresh-tasting hot cross buns, despite the fact that these are made in Australia and shipped over to NZ! I just ate these buns as they were but will have to buy another pack and try them toasted đ a bit expensive more

Dangerously addictive â like it spread on toast, carrots, dates or eating it by the spoonful!
Love the sustainable glass jar packaging and minimalistic label.

Always buy this tahini brand as I believe itâs the cheapest brand in the supermarket (or maybe the only brand in the supermarket. Havenât bought tahini in awhile, but I thought that it was previously much easier to mix the more
Solid soy milk option! Usually $3 I think but got it on special at countdown for $2.50. Usually is the cheapest plant-based milk option at Countdown. Love the high protein content and rich, flavourful taste.

Cinnamon is one of my favourite spices (use it frequently in baking, oats, on top of fruit etc), and itâs hard to go wrong with it!
Shouldâve bought cinnamon in a bulk food store though to get better value for money!

First time buying miso paste! This was the only miso paste product that I could find in Countdown and it was rather pricey â I should have remembered you can get this sort of thing for much cheaper at Asian supermarkets!

Cheapest dates that you can get at the Countdown supermarkets in NZ I believe. Much cheaper than the fancy & fresh medjool dates you can buy.
Make for great snacks (I like to slather it in almond or peanut butter) or as more
Dish is from the lunch specials menu that they have.
Just a few dishes could be veganised. Asked if the dish came with tofu, but alas it did not! Would rate it higher if it did (or came with another protein source).
