In Shanghai since 2014, enjoy exploring the local food scene. I work in the Food business, passionate about making it more sustainable and future ready.
A decent veggie burger. The sauce and guacamole go pretty well with the pattie.
Presently surprised with the amount of seeds and raisins in this slice. Pretty filling!😌
Dumplings with spinach and vegan imitation of shrimp, dressed with chilli oil. The place is very light on the pocket as well, after all monks arent rich 😋
Perhaps the best hot and sour soup I've had in China.
It's a great place to try local food if you are a vegetarian. It's actually for monks, they go to the extent of not using garlic and onions. But without compromising much on the taste. Chowmein was good but we would preferred more
It's quite a bit of food for 48RMB, tasty but quite filling. You get the option to pair Chick pea curry, Spinach curry besides Samosas and a potato based side. Their Mint and Samosa chutney go pretty well with the food.
Vegetarian Chinese cuisine at its best. We like spicy, and they took good care of that. Would go there again!!
The local buns were slightly sweet and complemented the eggs pretty well. It was a local stop in a small village in rural China, with the meal served in earthen ware. Quite an experience!
Flavorful, with hidden spices which explode as you chew on them. Only complaint is that it's a bit dry.
