Review of Bio Tofu natur - Berief by whaleyneemwood
This firm tofu is of some of the highest quality and is made of just 2 ingredients: water & organic and biologically sustainable soybeans. My nearest supermarket offers only this brand of plain tofu that costs 3,55 euros for the pack of 2x200 g blocks.
This is my recipe for stir-fried vegan lunch with celery, cabbage and onions to create a mouthwatering yet simple dish where tofu is soft and crispy, and veggies are juicy and crunchy.
Ingredients
2 blocks of Bio Natur Tofu
1 tablespoon corn flour/potato starch
freshly ground black pepper/pepper mix & salt to taste
1 onion, chopped
2 celery ribs, chopped
a few winter (Napa) cabbage leaves, crunchy white part only, sliced
1 clove of garlic, minced
For the sauce:
2 tbsp miso paste
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp sesame seed oil
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
100 ml water
