I recently bought the tasterbox from WhatIF to try since they were having a promotion. Decided to try their sweetcorn soup first (to pair with my homemade sandwich!). Usually i am not a fan of corn soup but this tasted good. It is not too starchy like the ones I am used to. It feels more like the instant mushroom souo that I got from campbell. Similar great taste but much more healthier! Cant wait to try out the others

Peppery sweet corn soup. Sime instructions and easy to make! Though I failed badly coz I poured more than 200ml of water and so the soup was thin and not as creamy as I expected.

Another #lazyvegan find! 😂 Just add 200mL hot water to this powder and you get a thick consistency of yummy sweetcorn soup. It is savoury and well-seasoned. 👍 #veganisnotscary
Similar to the tomato soup in my review just before this one, the starchy/grainy texture of the nut forms the body of this thick soup. It also requires a lot of stirring to make sure the powder is absorbed thoroughly. (Well, again, the instructions did suggest using a blender but I didn’t...) The sweetcorn taste is evident and pleasant, and there is 0 spiciness despite containing spices such as black pepper. It could really do with a lot more black pepper (and other spices) to fire it up a little. Maybe that’s just my palate.
