Totally unimpressed with this soya burger from Spur - I can't even find words to describe how dismal it was - I definitely wouldn't order it again and do not recommend it - total waste of money ☹️ #veganin2020
Crunchy, savoury snack - I enjoyed the flavour of these oven dried chickpeas - flavoured with salt & nutritional yeast. I did not enjoy the gritty mouth feel before they soften in your mouth - it's like crunching on sand. more
I am a dark chocolate fan, but the 78% is a little bit too intense for me. My husband, on the other hand, loves the intensity. If you love dark chocolate with a bitter bite to it, then you would probably enjoy this #chocoholic
My husband chose this BLT Roll from Sea Point Spar and he enjoyed it. The only negative was the roll - he said it was not the tastiest roll - a plain white boring roll. Very good value for money and he would buy it again more
Bought from the Sea Point Spar - not labeled vegan, but the lady who made it assured me it was vegan. I was totally underwhelmed by this wrap. It was pretty tasteless to be honest. The only good thing about it was the price. more
I found these at our local Spar and absolutely loved them. They are lightly salted, so the salt flavour is not overpowering. Only 3 ingredients - potatoes, oil & salt. I will definitely buy them again and highly recommend them 😊
These biscuits are delicious - not exactly a healthy treat as I counted four different sweeteners in them 😲 No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and no hydrogenated fat, so some positives here. They are imported more
Lindt dark chocolate - this time I tried the 70% mild - I enjoyed it, but not as much as the original 70% dark - it definitely has a milder taste, but there's just something missing. The big downside to Lindt chocolate is more
Food Lover's housebrand - common pitted dates(whatever those are) - very good value for money - currently selling at 3x400g packets for R50. Standard grade, preservative free. I use these dried dates in cooking - I don't more
I love peanut butter and Black Cat with no added sugar & salt is my favourite - smooth or chunky - both are good. You sometimes battle to get the no salt, no sugar versions. I use it in baking, in smoothies and best of all, on toast 😊
