I’m sorry my pictures have been blurry. I broke the camera on my new phone the first month I had it and I’ve been so busy with business to send it in to be fixed! It sucks to have one of the most expensive nicest dang phones more

Beans and rice is fairly common but to get vegan tacos with purple cauliflower seasoned smokey and sweet was a real treat. I wish I would have got a better pic. Presentation of the cauliflower was beautiful.

joshuajoseph365 It was a first. I ordered this from a menu without pictures so I had no idea what to expect. Then it came out purple and I was so excited. They had little sautéed them and they were a bit Smokey but also a bit sweet. Then the corn taco was topped with cashew cheese. It was different flavors but sweet really worked out well mixed with the Smokey flavor. You should make your own dish with them if you have them at your grocery. I’ve never seen them locally in my area to be honest. Just at that restaurant. Reply

joshuajoseph365 More often then not I have to change my mind and eat something else as I keep learning my favorite meals aren’t vegan. I was so bummed out this day. I’m pretty committed but I still say it’s really difficult for me. Also the city I live in doesn’t offer vegan options. Well chipotle but we know I’ve already had that enough times. I just … I miss being able to eat everything on the menu. I also don’t like being catered to, which is always the case it seems. Do you feel me at all? Reply

avecdeschiens I think it’s important to not look at it like you’re sacrificing something. You have everything to gain from living a fully vegan lifestyle! Think of how much harder it is for the trillions of animals being oppressed. And fortunately, eating a whole food, plant based diet can easily be done anywhere. So many shelf stable, frozen, and fresh items! Traveling may be more difficult in the beginning, but a little planning, and buying groceries where you go, makes it simple. The processed foods aren’t good for us, anyway, and are a lot more expensive. And never feel like a burden for being vegan; it’s your life, and your body. It gets way easier. I went vegetarian 17 years ago, and fully vegan 7 years ago. Veganism is the best decision I’ve ever made, and any inconveniences along the way are well worth knowing I’m not supporting the animal holocaust. 🌱💚1 likeReply

joshuajoseph365 I appreciate your kind and thoughtful words. Everything you said is so very true. I just love to eat. But I also know the value of treating myself with the most love I can and ultimately eating like this is where my values rest. I can make a thousand excuses.. it’s just hard. I needed vent the other day. Today will be better. I was curious to how others feel tho. If they feel like I do at all. Our if the vegan lifestyle is so integrated into their lives they don’t have those feelings any more.Reply
