2nd year eating vegan food, inspired by the girl of my dreams. Foodie and I love exploring new places!
Its been so long since I’ve posted but been pretty hyped to try this again especially after they relocated and I was no disappointed!! Crispy!
Pretty disappointed.. Truffle taste was very faint, rice used wasn’t even meant for risotto???? Wasn’t very flavourful, and was rather dry! Wouldn’t recommend. If I recalled correctly, there are only 2 vegan mains on their more
Came across the personal Instagram account of the owner of Rendang Mama Vegan, and found out about this new Beyond Meat Epok Epok that they were selling! $2.50 each may seem pricey but I really liked it because it tasted more
This dish was quite flavourful, had wok hei and a little bit of spice which was enough. Liked it more than the chicken rice!
The rice was pretty fragrant, sauce could have a bit more taste, the texture of the chicken was pretty legit. Soup was clear and overall pleasant.
I like FRIED RICE!! This was pretty good, it was fragrant and had like wokhey and yet wasn’t too oily like some other olive fried rices. I didn’t really eat the salad but okay plus points for presentation
The mushrooms were naise! Not too chewy and bite sized. The vegetables were rather raw though.. this cosy cafe has been here for quite some time, and have finally tried it. Ambience is so much better after they renovated.
Just some info: they have omnipork curry rice in two versions, patty and meatball. Patty is $4 whereas meatball is $5 if I’m not wrong. Tastes a lot better than how it looks haha!! Potatos were soft, curry was not very spicy. more
FAVOURITE DISH OF THE DAY! Expected the portions here to be smaller but this was decently large. The rice was very fragrant and it had “wok hei”. Cutlet was very crispy and not too dry.
Found it quite cool that they had omnipork siewmai and it was 4 for $2. The skin was average and the filling was okay. The chilli was good tho!
