Vegan box

My first taste of Eritrean and Ethiopian dishes with a type of sour bread all made by a lady here and the gentleman serving me using recipes passed down through family generations.

Absolutely amazing.
I really enjoyed each dish, the spices, textures and portion amount was just right. They had the most appealing aroma.

I had the most amazing experience at Charter Hall Vegan Festival today and am very grateful for people travelling to visit our community and sharing their culinary skills.

First time trying Ethiopian food and I was so impressed! I got a mixed vegan platter but my favourite was the chick pea curry and mixed vegetables. The bread was so so soft and like nothing I’d ever had before. The whole dish was really really light and satisfying, filled me up without being too full. Purchased at leeds vegan food festival :)

Got this as a takeaway. Vegan box option with injera or rice with 4 curries. Loved the injera, curries were a bit bland. Tiny portions. When my partner complained, they said this was just a taster box? They'd not mentioned it being a taster on UberEats.. dunno. Pretty price for the amount you get. I think it was about about £15-£16 per box.
They might have given less curry because they were running buy 1, get 1 free deal. Really nice guys though! Would probs get Injera and sonwthing else next time in the restaurant not as takeaway!
