Review of Majesty Santa Claus Melon - Five Crowns Marketing by beckyyy

Santa Claus (or Piel de Sapo) are my second favorite melons 🍈 They have a texture that is similar to my absolute favorite, the Hami melon. They’re a bit more crisp than a cantaloupe or honeydew. They’re ready to go when they feel heavier than they look and have a little give. Their flesh is a similar color to honeydew but the flavor is distinctly different. It’s difficult to explain the flavor and it is pretty mild but it’s sweet and so lovely! The melon skin is also so pretty. 🐸

This melon was $4.32 (1.49 per pound) at Sprouts. I’m hoping they’ll have some good melon sales as they become more plentiful.
