Review of Braised Tofu and Mushroom Rice Set at Thunder Tree @ Vivocity Food Republic by xinru-t

Braised tofu, mushrooms, seaweed, and sauteed seasonal leafy greens, served with organic crystal brown rice. The braised tofu is different from their usual lei cha tofu or Hakka style yong tau foo; tasty and nostalgic as it tasted similar to my grandmother's braised dishes from my childhood. Probably would have been nice with a bit of braised peanuts or braised taupok for variety too. ($6.80) P.S. Do support them before their organic farm Fireflies Health Farm closes down at the end of July! Last day of operation is 31 May for the People's Park branch and 30 June for the VivoCity branch.
