Please listen to me when I say this is now my current FAVORITE dessert food. If I could have twenty of these instead of a birthday cake this year that would be great and I’m not trying to be dramatic. I got so lost in the divine flavor of this treat while eating, that I forgot to take a pic of the inside— which is some sort of mesmerizing black sesame filling. There is SO MUCH flavor packed into each one of these little dessert dumplings, that I felt it was necessary to close my eyes after every bite. It has an almost chocolatey and nutty flavor. Truly the perfect bite. I’m drooling typing this and thinking of it right now. My family was hooked on it and preferred it way more over the chocolate xiao long Bao (which is hyped up way more and isn’t vegan). Idk how I haven’t seen more love for this dessert xiao long bao and I’m eternally grateful to my boyfriend for introducing me to it. My family collectively got depressed when the last one was eaten and we realized we had no more. The order is perfect for sharing with others, but at the same time I could easily enjoy the whole order myself. Every person.. vegan or not needs to try this. Please!
