I don't know in which category to put it under. It's not exactly an instant food. But it is a pantry item. 😅
Chemba rice also means red rice. I think this is ready made mix of red rice puttu. I looove red rice. I usually get to eat that only when i go to my mom's hometown✨. So i was ecstatic when i saw this here. The instructions didn't carry the measurements for water n the mix. It took me a couple of tries before i got a good puttu. It was worth it, tho! 🤤 Just mix some water n salt n get it to a breadcrumbs consistency. If added too much water then the puttu becomes tough n less water means it'll fall apart as soon as it comes out of the puttu maker. And then steam it for 12-15mins. Mom said that this can also be used in cooking a quick payasam(sweet dish). #veganisnotscary
