Falafel Mix

So good! This one is nearly comparable to the European mixes I love so much, glad I found it! We always add just some fresh chopped onion/garlic to the mix and it’s perfect! #veganisnotscary #lazyvegan

This is such a delicious and easy way to have a good falafel sandwich or salad at home. Falafel really isn’t that hard to make from scratch, so I’m glad there is an even quicker flavorful option with this. Gluten-free and made with fava beans. Just add water, and set mixture aside for 30 minutes. I baked these instead of frying, and it tasted great to me. Plus they weren’t dry after baking them either. It’s spiced really well, and tasted great in a pita 🥙. I’ll definitely get this again.

My mom picked this up in the States and she brought it back for my bridal shower. Hilariously, my mom, aunt and cousin (who made the #falafel) had no idea what falafel tastes like so they weren't sure if what they created actually tasted good or not LOL

It ended up being so yummy! I kinda liked the grainy texture LOL! Lots of people complimented how good it tasted. My family who cooked it were so relieved ahah

My mom said the box mix cost her $3 American. It made A LOT of falafel. I would suggest people picking this up next time they are at Trader Joe's.

I really enjoyed the convenience of this mix. I think the falafel from this tastes better than the frozen stuff, and it's nice that you can choose to fry or bake it. I decided to have mine on top of a salad with Violife feta.
