I was intrigued by the label on this ketchup bottle, which was sitting on our dining table at Old Westbury Diner in Old Westbury, Long Island, NY.
“Fancy” ketchup, eh?
Does “fancy” ketchup exist, or are the tomatoes “fancy”? Is this supposed to be like Dijon Ketchup? I can tell you it’s not. It tastes like regular ketchup to me. Like other ketchups, there’s a lot of sodium and sugar in each small serving. Admittedly, my fries tasted better with it.
