My favorite milk substitute. Creamy enough for coffee, but light enough to mix with oatmeal or make a protein shake with. Love that it is low in sugar and high in protein.

Second review of the family mylk tasting event from yesterday!
Silk creamy cashew mylk. I was especially looking forward to this one because I LOVE cashews! I was a little surprised after the first sip (but in all honesty, that happens like every time... 😅)
The taste is distinctly nutty, but my dad said he wouldn’t have been able to identify it was cashew, had it been a blind taste test. We noticed on the carton it also says “With a touch of almond” which made more sense for the nuttiness, and the price, $3.29, making it the cheapest. (They might have used almonds to fill up the carton and not drive up the price) As well as it says “Creamy cashew...Made with creamy cashews” but I don’t think it’s super creamy, definitely more watery.
Overall, not something I’d just drink a glass of (unlike oat milk), but it tastes great in cereal!
Note: my sister is intolerant to tree nuts, so she was unable to provide a quote or reaction.

This is my go to milk when I'm making a sauce, or mashed potatoes and gravy. It is mild and you can't taste the nut flavor in your sauces like I think you can with almond milk.
However I don't like this with cereal, I prefer soy milk when having cereal. Thanks to silk for having so many milk options.

My Planet Oat oat milk is water compared to this. I imagine this would be great for recipes. I enjoyed this with some cookies though.
