Spanish Queen Olives

A great snack - these are really colossal sized olives- great for a snack. Would be good on a charcuterie board

So good on subs and in salads. Inexpensive and tasty.

I bought these olives to be part of a little makeshift charcuterie arrangement. These plump green olives wonderfully complemented the sliced peppers, baby carrots, sun dried tomatoes, crackers, artichokes and vegan cheese (I forget what kind it was).

As expected, the Spanish Queen Olives were tasty and salty. Perhaps a bit too salty for me. Just 2 olives give 10% of your day’s sodium, and who only eats 2 olives?? Olives don’t provide much nutrition, but they are a delicious way of getting sodium.

I don’t buy olives often, but once the hosting is done, I usually drain the jar and repeatedly rinse it with water, hoping it will help wash away some of the saltiness. I suppose it helps…marginally.

I would still get these again. They’re also a great pizza topping and snack.
