First of all I was super stoked to hear that Subway's veggie patty is finally vegan as it used to contain eggs! So I gave it a try. I had not eaten Subway for a long time due to the lack of vegan options after they discontinued the chatpata chickpea as the veggie delite is quite unsatisfying. The patty was quite tasty and I think there was potato in it. Went well with the mix of veggies, olive taste was very strong, I had mustard and tomato ketchup. Taste of the veggies not that interesting though. It cost $7.70 ($7.30 with regular bread but extra for wrap) which I feel is slightly overpriced as the wrap itself wasn't very filling but ok for a late lunch. I wish Subway could do much better to provide vegan options, the cookies all have eggs and milk and soups contain dairy, new mushroom topping also has dairy. Also fast food results in a lot of disposable packaging.
